The Non-Woven Low Stretch (NWLS) belt is made with KLINGSPOR’s thickest, most stiff backing to prevent stretching under high tension. The resin and grain coating makes it highly aggressive and heavy duty, leaving a deep scratch pattern. These features also result in maximum service life. Use NWLS belts to your advantage when removing material, for aggressive backstand applications, and for work on a serrated contact wheel. Non-woven abrasives consist of random nylon fibers bonded together into an open web, and impregnated with resin and abrasive grit. Advantages of non-woven abrasives include a consistent finish, long service life, cool cutting, and soft, yet fast working action. They are waterproof; can be used wet or dry, and easily rinsed out. Coolants, lubricants, and cleaning agents can also be used with a non-woven. With its ability to reduce loading, non-woven abrasives are excellent for paint or coating removal.
